Today I am going to talk to you
guys about my summer. This summer I
worked for fish and wildlife. Also I’m going to talk to you about the couple
weeks off I had before school started.
Then I am going to talk about the first week of school. That’s what I’m
going to talk about today.
This summer I applied for a job
with the Youth Conservation Corps. I started my first couple weeks of work down
in Homer. We started work by learning about some of the things that we would be
doing. We also had to get our CPR certificate. I enjoyed my time in homer and
really liked the people there.
My last two weeks of work were here
on the island. We finished the last week of work here and I stayed while
everyone else that I worked with got on the plane and left. I kinda just sat
around and didn’t do anything the couple weeks that I had off before school. I
played a lot of games and slept a lot. That’s what I did with my two weeks off.
Our first week of school started
with registering on Monday August 24th. Then we actually started
school the day. This year I am taking Russian class and I think its pretty fun.
I thought that it’d be hard to learn another language but its not as hard as I
thought it’d be. My other favorite class is EEC. I don’t even know why but I
like that class for some odd reason.
That’s all that I have to talk
about today and I hope that you enjoyed my blog. Now I am going to go back to
working on my AKCIS thing that I was supposed to be working this hour. Its
great to be back in school again!
It seems like a fun summer. How was working in Homer for you? I think that the Russian class is really fun and easy, I'm learning a lot. Then we actually started school the day. I think that you messed up right there. Your two weeks off actually seemed really fun.
